A cacao bean can be used for both its cocoa butter and cocoa solids. When both of these are ground, liquified, and then solidified, the result is unsweetened chocolate. This is seen in the solid chips in some of our bars and is listed as "chocolate" on our label. When the cocoa solids are separated from the cocoa butter and ground into a powder, the result is a cocoa powder. This is also unsweetened and refers to the ingredient you'll see listed as "cocoa" in some of our bars.
The chocolate and cocoa used in our products don't contain any added ingredients (like dairy, soy or sugar). Just pure, unsweetened, chocolate and cocoa.
